As part of the Turning Water Wise initiative,
Lower Murray Water is aiming to establish a continued behavioral change
within our community to assist in water consumption reduction and therefore
reducing the strain on our catchments and river systems.

Why you
should be
Turning Water Wise:
Current
drought and climatic change over the last 6 years and the introduction
of Staged Water Restrictions are cause for us all to re-assess
our current practices. Ability for fiscal benefits to customers
is another benefit with reduction in consumption also reduces energy
and water consumption costs for the household.
The Turning Water
Wise initiative has been developed to enable our customers to help
achieve a further 10% reduction in total per capita water use by
2015, increasing to 15% by 2030. |
